Great place to hang out and eat. Pizza and grilled chicken caesar salad are my favorites. Tony and Maria are fantastic people.

We went with a group for a birthday celebration. There were 15 in our party and we were on the restaurant side of the establishment. We found the service less than desirable. Maria was our waitress and was not real friendly, acting as if she had a chip on her shoulder. I would say maybe she was having a bad day, but this behavior was observed when we attended another time. We did not get our bread with our salads either, as all of us were desiring. The food was just ho-hum and overpriced to boot. We will not be returning to Tuscan Tavern.

Hands down, best eats on the lake. I was a local for 10 months before, adventuring here. One of the biggest mistakes of my life. I wasted countless dollars on food I just "tolerated". The food is the definition of fresh and flavorful, not your typical tomato based pasta. Highly recommend for anyone who truly "taste" what they eat and not just fall into the stereotypical food genres

Usually, the service and food is very good! This time, however, the service was slow and my friends dinner was cold and his shrimp scampi tasted like chicken noodle soup. This is NOT the norm. I dont know what happened this time.

Delicious food, some of the best Chicken Parmigiana I've ever had! Staff if extremely kind, too. They treat you like friends and family, and the wait isn't bad at all! Only thing might be the prices, but even those are reasonable for the area.

Dinner with friends tonight. Service was excellent. They took our drink and food order in the first 5 minutes. Salad and garlic rolls (Yum) were on the table in 2 more minutes. Try the house dressing. Spaghetti and meatballs were very good with healthy portions. Have had the coconut cake in the past,which was devine. Try the eggplant parmesan and the mussels. Bar has good selection of beer and wines. The wings did look good passing bye also. You will like it.

This place was absolutely incredible! The food was delicious, the owner was one of the nicest people I have ever met, and he made is feel like we were old friends instead of visitors from out of town. I cannot recommend highly enough!

Best pizza on Smith Mountain Lake. Be sure to try the Buffalo Spicy Chicken or Florentina. The bar area is separate from the main dining area, but both areas are family friendly. Service can be a little slow, but it is worth the wait if you are looking for solid pizza and a laid back environment. Takeout also available. Friendly owners.

Always a reliable year round restaurant. Love to sit in the bar and hang out with Tony especially during football season.

We love this husband & wife-run restaurant, with food made from fresh ingredients and with a great love and passion for what they serve. Their Pizza is wonderful, but don't forget about the sandwiches!! The meatballs are hand-made, and so light and moist....in a sub, they make your mouth water!! The Philly steak sub is also fantastic, and our favorite. Clean and friendly, you can't go wrong!!

Always great food and friendly people

Service was quick and friendly. We got food to go. Unfortunately the quality was not up to par. My husbands shrimp scampi was not very flavorful, basically tasted like the pasta was drenched in plain butter and the shrimp were small. My eggplant parmigiana was soggy and the tomato sauce did not taste homemade. Would not order from here again.

This was the most disgusting food! Won't be going back. Server was not too friendly. She acted like she didn't want to be there. If you are going to be like that, my advice to her is Don't Work With The Public! That's how you make your money by having a good personality & a smiling face! This place should be closed or get a cook that can actually cook!
